SUMMARY:
New Line Structures served as Construction Manager for this first class condominium/office building located at 135 West 52nd Street in Midtown Manhattan. A complex gut rehab, the project involved significant structural demolition; the complete removal of the existing curtainwall and installation of a brand new façade system; and removal and replacement of the existing elevator systems within existing shafts. The completed project consists of over one hundred high-end residential units, six floors of commercial space, residential and commercial lobbies, and restaurant space. Amenities include pool, gym, sauna, steam rooms, golf simulator room, children’s room, multiple terraces, and a multitude of custom design elements: a chandelier and 3-story-tall backlit onyx wall at the main lobby, a printed glass backdrop at the pool, stone-clad fireplaces and wet bars in penthouses, and a curved glass staircase at the top penthouse. A public through-block Galleria at the ground level features a custom waterfall fountain.
