SUMMARY:
Located at Queens Plaza South and Jackson Avenue The JACX (Gotham 1&3) is made up of two 29 story office towers with a 1.5 acre park and recreation area, atop a 5 story retail and industrial podium. The building foundations consisted of approximately (320) 24" caissons up to a depth of 80'. The core of the building is an architecturally exposed concrete shear wall, and building enclosure is a curtain wall with a ribbed terra cotta spandrel. An MTA subway tunnel runs through the Gotham 1&3 site. The 1.2 million square-foot office and retail project, including a food hall, fitness center, and restaurant was completed in 2020.
